Rosalyn has extensive expertise in all aspects of family law, in particular in relation to financial matters arising on the breakdown of a relationship and children disputes. Rosalyn is a Resolution-accredited specialist in "Complex Financial and Property Matters", and in "Children Law".
Rosalyn is a trained mediator and assists separating couples and families in resolving all types of family-related disputes.
She is also a Collaborative Lawyer.

Rosalyn chaired the London Y-Resolution committee for many years and also sits on the London regional Resolution committee, the organisation to which many family law solicitors belong, and which promotes a constructive resolution of family disputes.

Catherine, too, has extensive expertise in all aspects of family law, and has particular expertise in complex international financial cases, often involving complex corporate or trust structures. She also has extensive experience in difficult, gritty Children Act 1989 cases.
Catherine is widely recognised in London and the Thames Valley for combining a sensitive approach to clients with a tough and determined negotiating stance on those clients' behalf. She is constructive, but fights fearlessly for her clients' best interests. She is known for her tactical skills.
Catherine sits on a working group committee in London, made up of family law solicitors and barristers, including some Queens Counsel, that meets to discuss the 2011 Maintenance Regulation, and she is a known expert in this very specialist field.
Catherine attained her degree from Oxford University and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2007 in the West End firm Boodle Hatfield. On qualification, she moved to top-tier niche family law practice Hughes Fowler Carruthers, where she worked for circa 7 years, rising quickly to the post of Associate. In June 2014, Catherine moved to become the head of the new Windsor branch of KJ Smith Solicitors, a well-known Thames Valley firm.
